Our Story
Furaha Ministries, Non-Profit Organization
Furaha ministries was founded with a passion to serve the neediest of the needy that may be overlooked. We focus on orphans, abandoned children and youth at risk - and offer holistic support that nurtures their body mind and spirit.
Our programs are tailored to meeting critical community needs by partnering with schools, children’s programs, churches and clinics. We walk with each child and young person through their journey of healing growth and empowerment.

Founder
As a young girl, I dreamed of caring for children in need. Though that vision evolved, God led me to help one child at a time.
Through prayer and encouragement, He opened doors for me to serve—and Furaha became the gift through which I live out that calling.
Our Causes
Nutrition
Hunger is a daily reality for many children in Kenya, severely affecting their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Furaha’s primary goal is to create and sustain efficient, self-sufficient systems that meet these children’s basic nutritional needs.
Education
Education is a pathway to success and self-sufficiency. Furaha’s second goal is to support schools in underprivileged areas with updated resources and learning environments that foster growth, prepare students for secondary education, and build foundations for lasting careers.
Discipleship
Our greatest goal is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and nurture Christian fellowship. We strive to ensure that everyone connected to Furaha experiences discipleship and spiritual growth as we serve children in need.
